Transport
AR Lunn predominantly provides a containerised transport service to blue chip international shippers to and from all major UK ports from its northern base, a strategic position on the Humber, the biggest ports complex in the country.
AR Lunn has a constantly updated modern fleet of 44 tonne high-spec tractor units, predominantly Volvo. The company operates a mixed modern fleet of over 150 trailers, including lightweight straight frame chassis, sliding skeletal chassis and 20ft sliding tipper chassis, allowing effective modern containerised transport solutions for 45, 40, 30,20ft containers along with ISO tanker containers.
A growing number of 9ft 6” curtainsiders have been a successful addition to the fleet.

Warehousing
AR Lunn’s 23,000 sq. ft secure warehousing at Century Road, Hull provides a short/long term facility for handling and storage, including repacking / restacking to ensure that all products arrive, via our curtainsider fleet, in the best possible condition and to client delivery specification.
The company’s warehousing facilities include a full range of forklift trucks and container ramps. A specialist reel clamp with a capacity to hold three tonne tissue and paper reels is a new addition to our constantly updated equipment.

Century Container Services
AR Lunn’s sister company Century Container Services (CCS) offers a full range of support services to the container industry. All staff are fully trained in small-major repairs to ISO standards including open-top containers and flat racks.
CCS buy and sell all sizes of containers and purchase used containers for conversion to secure site offices and a wide range of requirements of customers.
CCS’s large terminal, with a capacity of over 2,000 teu, is ideally located close to the Hull and Humber Ports, ensuring we can provide a full storage service to shippers. In addition, CCS also offers a large, outdoor storage yard.
A self-storage facility, ideal for shippers, house movers, emigrants, builders or anyone wanting secure storage facilities at a competitive price, is also available.
